JOHN PHILLIPS

I am an experienced leader who loves to dabble in just about everything. I have imagineered software solutions that reinvented the way Fortune 2000 organizations conducted finance and planning. With creativity and innovation in mind, I applied best practices to roles including Client Support, Product Management, Human Resources, Business Development and Marketing.

In 1990, I co-founded a software consulting firm that blossomed into a five-time FAST 50/500™ technology winner. Along the way we grew from 3 to 100 employees and were twice recognized as a finalist for “Best Managed Private Company”.

In 2004 when our firm was acquired, I began my work as a coach, facilitator and mentor. I believe in harnessing the power of people’s potential and use a highly experiential learning approach. Music, toys and engaging the energy of all participants leads to fulfilling results. I seek ways to minimize the “fading effect” so that the impact of learning is amplified. I was called west from Toronto by my passion for the mountains and the sea. I live in Lions Bay where I can practice all of the right brain stuff I love beyond work – gardening, building and cooking along with skiing, biking and hiking.
